A frightening incident unfolded in Los Angeles this weekend when a woman allegedly opened fire on the home of global superstar Rihanna.

Police say the suspect fired multiple rounds toward the singer’s Beverly Crest residence Sunday afternoon. Rihanna was reportedly inside the home at the time, though authorities say no one was injured.

Investigators later determined that several bullets struck the property’s gate and exterior walls. At least one round reportedly penetrated part of the house.

The suspect fled the scene in a white Tesla but was quickly tracked down by police and arrested about 30 minutes later at a nearby shopping center.

Authorities say officers recovered an assault-style rifle from the suspect’s vehicle.

The woman, who is reportedly from Florida, is now facing attempted murder charges while investigators work to determine a possible motive. Police have not said whether she had any known connection to Rihanna or her family.

Rihanna shares the Los Angeles home with rapper A$AP Rocky and their children. It remains unclear if anyone else was present when the gunfire occurred.

While no one was hurt, the incident serves as a sobering reminder that even the most famous figures are not immune to unpredictable threats.
